Colour Psychology in Interior Design

Have you ever asked yourself why you feel so energised after stepping foot into a vivid colour room scheme or so tranquil when in a cream or beige space?
Or why does your pink-toned powder room make you look nice?
It's likely because colours evoke emotions, influence moods, and set the tone.

PINK

Underestimated as a colour only to be used for young girls' bedrooms, pink is a delicate hue in colour psychology that speaks of nurture, love and femininity.

GREEN

Green is an extremely positive hue as it stimulates thoughts of balance, growth and restoration in colour psychology.

YELLOW

Color yellow is synonymous with sunshine, thereby spreading the effect of light and happiness.

RED

Red is linked to passion and love.  It is a colour that provokes strong emotions.  Also associated with power and ambition.
