Description

Photographic Edition print by Tony Potts

I was asked to shoot a swimwear story for Vogue Thailand and my concept was simple, take the swimwear off the beach while staying completely in a beach world. Bondi's promenade mural gave me everything I needed. What I love about this frame is the geometry of it: the angle of her legs, the line of her arms, all of it echoing the painted surfboards behind her. She's not posing against the mural, she's become part of it. A bikini, a bucket hat, floral gumboots, and that stride. Happy, confident, completely her own.
