"I lived in the Hollywood Hills, but would often travel to Venice to take photos and I couldn't go there without spending time at the skate bowl around sunset.

The falling sun would throw shadows across the bowl and back light the skaters as they would fly around the bowl launching themselves into the sky. I loved the shadows and light. It always made for beautiful black and white photos." - Adam Bovino
