The second of my favourites in the last year. This guy is Thorndon-weekend Wellington at its summer festival BEST. The colours, the way the hidden houses sit against the greenbelt, the mountain ranges behind, makes me happy kind of homesick, not sad. I took a stroll down one of my favourite New Zealand artists lanes before I painted this...Nigel Brown, took took a deep breath and grabbed a tube of Indian yellow oil paint and a grey oil stick of course.
