Description

Photographic Edition print by Tricia Brennan

This 1968 design by William Krisel in the Kings Point neighbourhood captures what many think of as classic Palm Springs minimalism. A careful restoration removed decades of alterations, returning the house to its original simplicity—clean lines, crisp white stucco, and a striking geometric shadow-block wall.

What drew my lens was the tangerine-coloured entrance door. Set against the bright facade, it becomes a vivid focal point, perfectly illustrating how desert modernism often relies on just a few elements—light, geometry, and one confident burst of colour.
