Whilst visiting the beautiful and extensive Botanic Gardens of Kings Park in Perth, the silver princess was flourishing.  I had never seen a eucalypt with cascading branches that were laden with white gumnuts.  The gumnut is such an iconic shape in the Australian Native oeuvre, and they remind me of Christmas bells.  Throughout the suburbs of Perth, they line the streets with their earthy foliage and falling limbs covered in silvery nuts.
