Meaning behind the artwork:

A piece about playing the game of chance until we get the desired outcome, which makes us feel somehow in control when really we aren’t. The balance of dark and light colours represents the good and bad (light and shade) in every decision, with the legs at alternate heights signifying sitting on things and weighing up the alternate outcomes.
