Description

This photo was from a shoot conceptualized with Mercy Sang for her magazine POCC Magazine. It was originally informed by a story I heard from a friend in the Philippines from the 60s. We wanted to rethink the concept of a fashion shoot, which tends to lack emotion and drama in favor of a commercialist tendency to sell clothes. We took an ironic approach to this glamorization of subjects in fashion stories, instead letting cathartic human emotions take centre stage.
