This artwork is one of three mini-series based on acknowledging and reminding us that our spirituality is important. A tribute to piece to our mothers and grandmothers. I come from a strong line of independent women who have survived so much hardship and inequity. Their ability to withstand, adjust and carry such burdens is an important reminders, that their stoicism is a part of who we are.
