Hawkes Bay, New Zealand - beautiful at every turn, flat harbours, rolling farmland and family.
I was reminded of my childhood visit to see 1980s artist Gretchen Albrecht when I was visiting a lodge with limited edition etchings on the walls! The repeated arc motif she used - mostly exempt from any other feature in her work made a huge impression on me.
