The old Waka in the Tongareva boat harbour on the sunset side of Rarotonga was custom built for ceremonial purposes. These days it has become a beautiful sculpture and a spot to bomb dive off. My favourite, whitewashed church sits just along the road with the prettiest green algae growing down the side.
