It has deep red tones, along with other similar tonal areas, with small contrast of white and yellow which represent the western desert. Tommy’s country is very much like satellite images of the country that Tommy grew up in and loved to paint. It is as though this late master distilled the meaning and visuals of his county onto his canvases.
