Blushing brides - Serruria florida – are, to me, the prettiest of the protea family and such a joy to photograph due to their structural but delicate texture. So aesthetically pleasing. These are a South African native flower but grow widely in Australia. This image is several branches of brides clustered together and I shot them on a plain black background with natural light and a long exposure.
