The idea that there is some spiritual part that can be imbued into a picture or painting reminds me of “KITSUNE”. In ancient Japan the KITSUNE or Fox can shapeshift into human form and become stronger and wiser as it gets older. I feel like that fox and have painted the ‘spirit’ of myself into the centre of this picture as a shield.
