This artwork is about finding safety in the many places we live and work. The inspiration comes from the experience of navigating two worlds and the consistent cross-cultural spaces that emerge daily. I feel that those in minority groups are more aware of prevailing dominant cultures, and we are continually seeking and creating safer places to be ourselves.
