Australian photographer Francesca Owen is renowned for her body of work which focuses on the fine lines and soft muted tones of the female form underwater. Her passion for the water started as a Synchronised Swimmer at the age of 8, following on to compete at the 2012 Olympic Games.
Her celebrated unique style and background saw Francesca’s works recently featured in the TV series ‘The Block’. Francesca’s ‘Signature Series’ lends the viewer to a sense of calmness one could only otherwise perceive beneath the surface. Viewing this work allows one to escape the pandemonium of everyday life. Interior designer, TV personality and ‘The Block’ judge Shaynna Blaze described Francesca’s work as ‘hot’ in her judgement of her work on display.
