Lisa has a connection to the extremities and fragile beauty of our natural world. A journalist by trade and self-taught photographer, she got her start working in a regional Australian newspaper before a writing contest whisked her to Morocco in 2007. That year she never took the return flight home, opting instead to relocate to Ireland and jump into the world of freelance photojournalism.

In the years since, she’s worked for global brands and publications such as Lonely Planet, Harper’s Bazaar, The Sunday Times, Olympus, One & Only Resorts, W Hotels and Accor among others.

Back in Australia, Lisa launched The Wandering Lens which has grown to be the leading online publisher of travel guides and creative development resources for photographers. Her personal work focuses on regions of environmental significance and visual representations of those idyllic moments we all seek to experience.
