For as long as they can remember, Australian couple Carla and Joel, have had a camera in their hands.
Ever since they first met during their school years utilising film and dark rooms through to the digital cameras and computers of today, Carla and Joel have travelled the world documenting their life and surroundings with unyielding passion.
What inspires them is the beauty to be found in the very smallest things, like a perfectly wild bougainvillea winding up a white stone wall to the enormity of a single man floating on the edge of a turquoise abyss. But what drives them to do what they do, is the way these scenes can transport a viewer fondly to their own memory, or even to transcend through the imagination to what could be.
