Provenance and Artist Representation
How it Works: Provenance is an important part of assuring our clients the authenticity of our artworks, and sales directly support our artists through either commissions or royalties.
Original Paintings: Artists that sell their works as originals receive a commission on the sale of the works. Originals can be found in a FINEPRINTCO store or online and can be shipped internationally as a rolled canvas work or purchased domestically either rolled or stretched and framed. All originals will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity to verify provenance.
Limited Edition Prints: Our Limited-Edition artists will sell collections in editions of 10, 20, 50 or 100 depending on the size and value of the work. Representation is officiated with an artist agreement and artists are promoted with a profile and image descriptions for each individual work. Artists will personally sign and number each print and artworks are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity to verify provenance. Artists receive a royalty payment upon each individual print sale.
Photographers and Artists: All artists work directly with our FINEPRINTCO collections manager to curate an artwork range that best represents their personality, style, and messaging. Artists are promoted with an artist profile and image descriptions for each individual work. Representation is officiated with an artist agreement and artists are promoted with a profile and images descriptions. Collections are exclusively available in a range of print sizes. Artists receive a royalty payment upon each individual print sale.
Aboriginal Art: We are proud supporters of Indigenous art and represent established and emerging First Nations artists. Our aboriginal collection is represented through original paintings on canvas, limited editions, and print ranges. Monies earnt from the sale of works either as originals, limited editions or print ranges go direct to artists.
We source a large collection of indigenous work from artists living and working in the remote art centre community of Yuendumu in the Northern Territory of Central Australia who paint at the Australian Government supported Art Centre, Warlukurlangu Artists.
Representation: If you are interested in being represented by FINEPRINTCO we encourage you to apply with a portfolio of work and tell us a bit about yourself. Representation is limited as we are currently representing nearly 100 artists, but we are always looking for creativity and inspirational works.
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we are situated paying our respects to all their descendants both past, present, and emerging and recognise their continued connections to our community and country.
