Rilona is a self taught photographer and painter. She bought her first camera and began to travel around Indonesia on a motorcycle. Following her eye for beauty she explored Bali, Flores, Lombok and many other places. During her travels she discovered two main muses: the beauty of landscapes, especially the textures and human figure.

Rilona's artistic process is a blend of intention, intuition, and feeling. Her paintings and photos capture the union of human and nature. In her photographic gallery you can see the captured beauty in its most refined form: natural light, simple lines, minimal editing, black and white enthusiast, and a wide range of subjects from nature and humans.
