Artist | Pamela Honeyfield

Pamela is a Sydney based artist working from her studio at One Plus 2 Artist Studios, Lilyfield.

Pamela attained her Diploma of Fine Art whilst studying at the National Art School Sydney, Darlinghurst, during 1989 – 1991. She later went on to attain a Masters in Art Therapy at the University of Western Sydney, Nepean in 1994-1995.

Pamela is known for her energetic abstract paintings and evocative descriptions of landscapes. She has been a finalist in numerous Art Awards, such as, The Blake Prize, The Paddington Art Prize, New South Wales Parliament Plein Air Painting Prize, Pro Hart Outback Art Prize, Stanthorpe Art Prize and the John Leslie Art Prize.

Pamela has also won the premier Gosford Art Prize for her work ‘Fields of Gold – In Memory of Christine’ In 2014. She went on to win the award again the following year in 2015 for her work ‘Dusk Falls Across the Flinders’ making her the only Australian artist to win the prize two years in a row.
